2. A disk clean-up app shall show up now, you need to click on it and launch it.
3. After the window opens, you will find a button for Clean up system files.
4. Go ahead and click on it.
5. In the files to delete window, go ahead and check the other file operations.
6. After that click on OK.
7. Next tap on delete files.

This will delete all the unwanted files in the registry unit and enhance the efficiency of their system.

2. Use the System File Checker

You can also use the System file checker to mend the files in the registry. This is inbuilt software that comes with Windows 10. You can access this tool using the command prompt.

1. Go to the start menu and right-click on it.
2. Then you have to select Command Prompt (Admin) to launch the CMD.
3. After this write this command sfc /scannow, and then press enter.

For this, you need to Windows 10 Disc image file from the official site of Microsoft. Follow the standard procedure of installing Windows. When it comes to the change what to keep settings. Then click on keep personal files, apps, and Windows settings.

This is a definite solution. If you have installed it properly, then your system will be mended. You will have all the apps and settings which you had previously.

4. Troubleshoot via Automatic Repair

Automatic repair of the system can very well troubleshoot all the problems related to Registry. It will automatically scan and fix all the corrupt files. Below, I have described the procedure to initiate this auto start.

1. First of all, go to settings and then to update and security and to  Recovery.
2. In the advanced set up click on Restart now. Your PC will start rebooting.
3. A new window will start the advanced restart, it will have several menus. From the menu select Troubleshoot.
4. After that go on to click on the advanced option.
5. A new window will appear, where you need to select startup repair.
6. After this choose your account, put your password, and tap on continue.

2. Click on the Command Prompt (Admin) and launch the command prompt.
3. After this, you need to go to write the command DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and then press enter.

DSIM will then go ahead and scan your computer. It will also remove all the corrupt files.
